This policy covers the information you share when you join the Wegachu waitlist. Wegachu is pre-launch. When the product opens, a fuller policy will govern your use of it, and we'll point you to it before you start.
When you request early access, we collect the email address you enter, the industries you select, whether you work across more than one, and whether you identify as building your own career or managing talent. We also record how you reached the page (for example, a referral link or campaign tag) and the date you signed up.
We use it to contact you about early access, to decide the order in which we bring people in, and to understand which kinds of professionals are interested so we plan accordingly. That's the whole purpose. We do not use it for anything else.
We don't sell your information. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to track you across other sites.
Your information is stored with our infrastructure providers, including Supabase, which hosts our database. They process it on our behalf and under our instructions. Information may be stored on servers in the United States.
We keep your waitlist information until we launch and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first.
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@wegachu.io and we'll handle it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); this policy is written to honor those rights for everyone.
The waitlist is for working professionals and is not directed to children. Please don't sign up if you are under 16.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes that affect information you've already shared will be communicated to you directly.
